Check out the official cast list for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 has officially begun filming, and a new press release from Marvel (via ComingSoon) confirms who’ll be joining Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.

As previously rumoured, Oldboy‘s Pom Klementieff and the great Kurt Russell himself will star, who is rumoured to be playing Star Lord’s (currently unnamed) father.

Elizbeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, The Man From Uncle) has also signed up, as has Chris Sullivan (The Knick).

Other returning cast members include Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin (and the on-set Rocket), and, of course, Michael Rooker as Yondu.

Plot teasers? Well, this is as far as it goes so far:

“Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.”

We can’t freaking wait.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 is released on 28 April 2017 in the UK. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
