Firefly star and geek icon Nathan Fillion previously spoiled his cameo in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy – the star having appeared in James Gunn’s shocking Super and Slither.

Rumours, however, that he would be playing original human Nova Richard Rider, the subject of a long Andy Lanning and Dan Abnett run alongside their critically acclaimed Guardians Of The Galaxy have been well and truly debunked by Gunn:
