Writing in the letters’ page of a recent issue of Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, editor Stephen Wacker teased the possibility of an animated series coming from Disney XD – the home of Ultimate Spider-Man – saying, “Now, look, I can’t officially confirm that we spent a LOT of time talking about the Guardians Of The Galaxy cartoon, but wouldn’t that HYPOTHETICALLY… be amazing?
“Seriously though, don’t ask me about it, because it totally didn’t happen.”
How this would tie into James Gunn’s Marvel Phase 2 movie is uncertain, but judging by the line-up and tone of The Avengers animated series, we can probably expect something pretty similar…
