Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 trailer dials up the awesome

Baby Groot is the best in the new Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 trailer

Well, it’s here: the ‘teaser’ (even though it’s longer than most ‘full-length’ trailer) for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 2. And it’s every bit as brilliant as we could have hoped for.

Set to the tune of Sweet’s ‘Fox On The Run’ (we can safely assume that this will be one of the tracks on the next Awesome Mix), we get a first-hand look at the team battling a giant tentacled monster, as well as some random goons. Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) is cracking wise, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is cracking wise, and Drax (Dave Bautista) is clearly having the time of his life. So far, so good.

Then there’s Rocket and Groot – or Baby Groot, as he’s now called. An internet sensation before the year in which this film’s even being released, he’s going to be a star. If you haven’t already got one of those desktop nodding-Groot thingies then you’ve probably already ordered one.

All this aside, it just looks very promising. Although we don’t see many characters (Pom Klementieff’s Mantis aside, who instigates one of the trailer’s best scenes), everything looks to have picked up from where the original left off. And we’re totally fine with that.

Anyway, you can read the official synopsis and watch the new official teaser trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 2 below:
