Grimm Season 3 is getting into the festive spirit and throwing in a Christmas episode to celebrate. ‘The Twelve Days Of Krampus’ won’t be full of cheer, though, according to actress Bitsie Tulloch who plays Juliette Silverton.
“It’s going back to that slightly scarier nature of an episode,” she reveals exclusively to SciFiNow.
“You would maybe think that Grimm would do a Christmas episode and have it be a little more benign but we went in the opposite direction! I think it’s one of the best episodes we’ve ever done. It’s a twisted take on Santa Claus and the script is very clever. I think people are gonna love it.”
The show has been heading in a darker direction lately and fans can expect dismemberment and murder in Grimm Season 3, which comes to the UK in February.
“If you’re tuning into a show, you’re not necessarily the type of person that would shy away from a slightly darker subject matter anyway,” Tulloch adds.
“That’s a natural byproduct of what happens when you’re given the freedom and the leeway that our showrunners have been given to delve deeper into the mythology, going deeper into a Wesen’s background and the relationship between characters and the Scooby squad. The more we learn, the more we will discover secrets and some of it will be darker, but everyone seems to be loving the direction the show is going in.”
