Once Sandra Bullock’s Ryan Stone finally hits earth in Alfonso Cuarón’s gruelling and awards-hoovering Gravity, you definitely weren’t alone in expecting something terrible to happen to her. It was that kind of film.
“We had an alternative ending in which after landing on Earth,” joked Cuarón on Reddit.
“Ryan will get back on her feet and as she’s walking away Matt Kovalski falls from the sky and [crushes] her to death. And then cut to black. Create scroll in silence.”
