It has been confirmed that the first episode of young Batman TV series Gotham will air on Channel 5 in the UK on Monday 13 October at 9pm.
The series, which sees Ben McKenzie (The OC, Southland) star as the young James Gordon, and features radical new takes on classic villains like the Penguin, Catwoman, the Riddler and Poison Ivy, has done well so far in the US, gaining mainly positive reviews and 8.21 million viewers for its pilot episode.
