Gotham to introduce Harley Quinn in the Season 3 finale

David Mazouz confirms Harley Quinn is coming to Gotham, and soon

We’ve figured Harley Quinn would be making an appearance in Gotham at some point since the start, what with her being one of the most popular comic book characters on the planet and everything.

Her fate had finally been set when Erin Richards joined the cast as Harley’s alter ego Barbara Kean. The only question left was when would Barbara finally become the villain we know and love?

That question has conveniently just been answered by Bruce Wayne actor David Mazouz, who attended the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London this weekend and chatted with fans about what’s coming up for the rest of Gotham Season 3, which is currently airing in the US.

When asked about Harley, Mazouz said: “She’s going to be in the finale. Stay tuned.”

He also teased a little bit about what’s coming up for his own character. “Something major happens in the very last scene of Season 3 for Bruce,” Mazouz explained.

“He makes a decision, that decision will influence what he does. I don’t know what’s happening in Season 4 yet, I haven’t had a script or talked to the writers about what’s going to happen, but where I see it going is somewhere I’ve wanted to see it going for a very long time. You’ll see what I mean. Bruce is going to be very busy taking on this new role that he assumes at the end of Season 3 and I think it’ll be really cool.”

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Zabryna Guevara as Sarah Essen, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Camren Bicondova as Selina “Cat” Kyle and Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler alongside Mazouz as Bruce Wayne.
