Game Of Thrones Season 7 teaser catches up with the Starks

The North’s first family are aptly grim in this Game Of Thrones snippet

While it’s a long time until our return to Westeros (what with Game Of Thrones Season 7 having been pushed back from its usual April air date), making it without spoilers will be tricky. Already there have been script leaks and paparazzi snaps published online by sites that should know better, all of which has unfortunately made the task of keeping everything a surprise a lot harder.

In the meantime, it looks like we’re going to get drip-fed elements of what’s to come. For starters, there’s this ‘Coming in 2017’ video courtesy of HBO, which shows three of the surviving members of the Stark clan – Sansa, Arya and Jon Snow – going about their business, ie looking concerned and probably worrying about the White Walkers/Daenerys Targaryen’s fleet.

Like we said, it’s only a brief glimpse, and it doesn’t really tell us a whole lot about what’s to come, but it’s a start nonetheless. We guess that if it showed where Daenerys or any of the Lannisters were then it would have ventured way too far into spoiler territory, so we’ll let it off on this one.

In the meantime, we’ll continue to speculate – away from the click-bait-chasing websites that seem determined to spoil the story for everyone. Once again, with a release date a long way away, it’s a long time go without potentially finding out something that you’d rather not have know.

The main cast for this season includes the returning likes of Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aiden Gillen, Alfie Allen, Gemma Whelan, Gwendoline Christie, Daniel Portman, Jerome Flynn, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jacob Anderson, Conleth Hill, Ellie Kendrick and Kristofer Hivju.

Game Of Thrones: Season 7 will air on Sky Atlantic later in 2017. For all the latest TV news, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
