Speaking exclusively to SciFiNow at a junket for Game Of Thrones Season 2 on DVD and Blu-ray, Stark stars Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) teased their ideal resolution for the HBO fantasy epic…
“Dinosaurs!” exclaimed Michelle Fairley. “Oh goodness, I don’t know – I guess I’d like to see the family reunited, Ned come back from the dead.”
“It’s all just a daydream of Hodor’s,” adds Richard Madden, “and at the end of it will be him waking up and it’s all a dream – it’s a terrible end.
“It’s a bit like Dallas,” continues Fairley. “Suddenly everybody’s alive.
“Sansa’s always wanted to be queen,” says Sophie Turner, “but in the end I just want Sansa to be happy. I’ve said this before but I maybe want her to marry for love instead of political reasons and bringing families together. I just want her to be happy, is that too much to ask!? I don’t want her to be queen, as long as she’s happy, I’m happy, because she’s happy.
“For Robb,” Madden concludes, “he just wants to be with his family, so for me that would be a great end if he could actually achieve that. In Season 2 there’s so much chasing that Robb does of the Lannisters, and trying to get back at them, trying to move things to the point where they finish. And he doesn’t really achieve that, so he wants to get some payoff so he can get home with his family.
