FX to screen second season of True Blood

UK fans of this vampire series finally have an air date to work towards.

download-9It has been confirmed that FX will be screening the second season of True Blood, according to Digital Spy.

This highly anticipated second season will makes its UK debut in February 2010 at an undisclosed date. Season one of the show first aired in the UK on the FX network back in 2008, and went on to average at over 200,000 viewers across its 12 episodes. As the show gained in popularity these figures rocketed making it one of HBO’s most successful shows to date.

Season three of the series is already well underway, and in recent news has added Prison Break’s Marshall Allman to its cast. The season is scheduled to air in the US sometime in June 2010, so fans will have to wait a while to see if this third coming of the vampire sex opera meets expectations.
