The new Friday The 13th movie, which is on the fast track since the rights to Jason Voorhees returned to Paramount, could be a found footage sequel.
Ryan Turek of ShockTillYouDrop tweeted that the producers of the film have been “hearing pitches for a ‘found footage’ take” on Crystal Lake’s most notorious resident (via /Film).
The last time we saw Jason it was in Marcus Nispel’s shockingly average 2009 remake, which seemed to do well enough on its release to warrant a sequel, but Platinum Dunes decided against it.
You can buy the original Friday The 13th on DVD for £4.82 at Amazon.co.uk.
