IGN has revealed the teaser poster for the upcoming remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street, starring Jackie Earle Haley as the monstrous Freddy Krueger. In addition, the studio has released a still from the film, showing Haley (in a slightly obfuscated way) in costume as the soporific slasher himself. Judging by what we can see here, he seems to look more or less the same as Robert Englund’s version from the originals.
A Nightmare On Elm Street is directed by Samuel Bayer, starring Jackie Earle Haley and Rooney Mara. The film has a scheduled release date of 30 April 2010.
