the-fury.jpgFox 2000, a division of 20th Century Fox is looking to remake Brian De Palma’s 1978 supernatural horror movie The Fury. The original, which was based on John Farris’ 1976 novel of the same name, starred Kirk Douglas and John Cassavetes but there is no word yet as to who will be starring in this ‘re-imagining’. However this new look The Fury will tell the story of a young man as opposed to a young woman in the original, who finds himself abducted by the government who are looking exploit his sizeable kinetic powers.

Ted Field (The Chronicles Of Riddick/ Richard Kelly’s The Box) is producing through his Radar Pictures, from a script by Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman.
