The Fortitude tourist board today reveals a new promotional film featuring Hollywood legend Dennis Quaid.

In the video, the esteemed actor reminisces about his favourite holiday destination: the remote Arctic town of Fortitude. With its icy vistas, lively locals and unique buzz, it’s the perfect place to escape after the excess of the Christmas period and in 2017 it will welcome visitors for a new season, beginning on Thursday 26 January.

As Dennis explains, a trip to Fortitude is an experience that will change you forever: “How can the coldest place on earth create such warm memories? Fortitude is a place for lovers: lovers of the wilderness, lovers of the northern lights and, well, just lovers. Go and experience the warmth of this charming little town for yourself and freeze your precious memories in the ice. You will feel so at home, you’ll never leave…”

Fortitude’s tourist board has also created a new website for anyone looking for a holiday with a difference. So if you want to lose your head to the mysterious Northern Lights, you can discover more about the electrifying activities and special accommodation opportunities the town has to offer by heading to now.

It’s a killer destination: see it for yourself from 26th January (tx date) .
