The red band trailer for Chan-wook Park’s vampire feature, Thirst, is online and ready to draw blood.
Thirst tells the story of a lovelorn priest who after falling in love with his friend’s wife, turns into a vampire via a blood transfusion. The no holds barred trailer shows this to be a dizzying love story lashed with gore. After winning the Jury Prize at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, Park’s film has gone on to score big at the Korean box office.
Thirst will be given a limited release on 31 July 2009. The trailer below comes courtesy of IGN.
