NBC has released a full teaser trailer for its upcoming midseason replacement, The Cape. Starring David Lyons, the show centres on a cop framed for murder, who must assume the identity of a comic book hero to clear his name and go after the nefarious villains that plague his city, including Scales (Vinnie Jones), and Chess (James Frain). Along the way, he teams up with blogger Orwell (Summer Glau) and is trained by circus master Max Malini (Keith David).
What did you think? The trailer is well-constructed and conveys the story excellently. It’s hammy, sure, but overall quite exciting – I’m looking forward to it.
