Hostel director Eli Roth’s Cannibal Holocaust homage releases first still

Eli Roth’s cannibal horror film The Green Inferno has released its first still, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.

Reportedly an homage to Ruggero Deodato’s Cannibal Holocaust and taking its name for an alternate title for Antonio Climati’s Natura Contro, the site reports that “A group of student activists from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.

The Green Inferno will be Roth’s first directed film since Hostel 2 back in 2005. You can buy his first film Cabin Fever on Blu-ray for £8.00 at Amazon.co.uk
