The line-up for Film4 FrightFest all-nighter 2014 has been announced and it looks fantastic.
Taking place on Saturday 25 October at the amazing Prince Charles Cinema in London, the event kicks off at 9pm with the Vicious Brothers’ Extraterrestrial about five teens investigating a UFO crash site. That’s followed by The ABCs Of Death 2, which early buzz says is bigger and better than last year’s horror anthology mash. Directors include the Soska Sisters, Maury and Bustillo, Julian Barratt, EL Katz and many more.
Next up is Anthony Di Blasi’s (Dread, Missionary) Last Shift (AKA Paymon: The King Of Hell), which pits a cop on her last graveyard shift against the ghost of a cult leader who killed himself in captivity. That’s followed by The Pact II, the sequel to Nicholas McCarthy’s surprise hit, before The Editor, which FrightFest describe as “The Airplane of Giallo,” so that certainly has our attention! It’s from the makers of Manborg, has music by Claudio Simonetti and stars Paz De La Huerta and Laurence R Harvey. So yeah, we’re in.
