A Town Called Eureka will return on 10 July 2009, according to a release from The Sci Fi Channel, alongside the launch of new network series Warehouse 13 a few days earlier on 7 July.
Eureka was abruptly pulled from screens halfway through its third season, following a tense cliffhanger where Carter (Colin Ferguson) is fired from his role as the town’s Sheriff. A lack of communication from the network led many fans to believe that it had been cancelled, and with its new move to Fridays as well, the outlook is not great for its ratings.
Warehouse 13 is a debut series following two Secret Service agents as they tackle supernatural mysteries and chase down paranormal artefacts around the United States. The show stars Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly.
