The casting details are coming in thick and fast for the remake of Paul Verhoeven‘s 1990 sci-fi action romp Total Recall, based on a Philip K Dick short story. Latest news is that Ethan Hawke has signed on for a secret role, believed to be a cameo. Hawke’s last sci-fi outing was 1997’s Gattaca, although he also appeared in an episode of Alias.
Meanwhile both Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel are in negotiations for the female leads.
