Echo gets imprinted and is then seen as a bride about to get married. As a result of this glitch, Topher is accused of wrongly imprinting, but he refutes this. It soon emerges that Ballard is using Echo in order to get close to her new arms dealer ‘husband’. Meanwhile Senator Perin is investigating the Rossum Corporation and suspicions arise surrounding Ballard. This is soon cleared up and Ballard is then offered the chance to be Echo’s handler. Following this Echo’s cover is blown. After being struck by her new ‘husband’, Echo has flashbacks to past imprints. Ballard challenges Echo for failing the mission and manages to violently coax out of her some kick-ass moves. The two dispatch some guards and stop an arms deal. With the mission a success, Ballard accepts Adelle’s offer to be Echo’s handler.
