2013’s eagerly anticipated Sci-Fi Weekender has added a few more names to its already impressive roster of special guests, starting with classic Doctor Who star Frazer Hines.

Companion to the Second Doctor Patrick Troughton from 1966 and 1969, Hines returned to the show for 1983’s The Five Doctors and 1985’s The Two Doctors, and contributed to the soundtrack recordings for the infamous missing episodes as well as a number of Big Finish audio dramas.

Also appearing are authors Hugh Howey and Adam Millard, and genre retailer Forbidden Planet have confirmed their presence, so you’ll be able to load up on comics, books, toys and more over the weekend.

They join already confirmed guests Richard Madden and Jerome Flynn from HBO’s brilliant Game Of Thrones, Doctor Who‘s Fifth Doctor Peter Davison, Red Dwarf‘s Craig Charles, all-round genre icon Brian Blessed and more!

The Sci-Fi Weekender is held 1-3 March 2013 at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in North Wales. For tickets and more information, head on over to SciFiWeekender.com.
