Doctor Who has come over all Agatha Christie with this Saturday’s new episode Mummy On The Orient Express.

A troubling lack of Clara in the promo pictures put us in a Who-fueled panic that the Impossible Girl had left the Doctor for good after threatening to slap him so hard he’d regenerate last weekend, but the official episode synopsis says otherwise (thank God):
The Doctor and Clara are on the most beautiful train in history, speeding among the stars of the future – but they are unaware that a deadly creature is stalking the passengers.
Once you see the horrifying Mummy you only have 66 seconds to live. No exceptions, no reprieve. As the Doctor races against the clock Clara sees him at his deadliest and most ruthless. Will he work out how to defeat the Mummy? Start the clock!
The last time Who did Christie, it resulted in the wonderful The Wasp And The Unicorn, so all fingers and toes are crossed for another killer episode.
Mummy On The Orient Express is written by Jamie Mathieson and directed by Paul Wilmshurst. Guest stars include Frank Skinner as Perkins, David Bamber as Captain Quell, John Sessions as Gus and singer Foxes.
Mummy On The Orient Express airs on 11 October on BBC One and BBC America. You can pre-order The Complete Eighth Series on DVD for £36.75 from Amazon.co.uk.
