Doctor Strange new IMAX posters get psychedelic

These new Doctor Strange IMAX posters are pretty awesome

After a string of mediocre posters for Doctor Strange, the film has finally started to up its game with this new pair of psychedelic posters for the IMAX release, first published by IGN.

Clearly taking inspiration from blacklight and the actual Doctor Strange comics, we think these new posters are far more in keeping in the spirit of the source material.

Scroll back up and look at them again. Look how cool they are. The posters were designed by Randal Roberts, and if you google his artwork it will instantly become clear why he was a first choice.

Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) as Stephen Strange, Tilda Swinton (Only Lovers Left Alive) as The Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave) as Karl Mordo, Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls) as Christine Palmer, Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) as Kaecilius and Benedict Wong (The Martian) as Wong.

Scott Derrickson is directing the film and Derrickson and C Robert Cargill penned the screenplay.
