Those other Doctor Strange director names may have met with a flat denial from Marvel Studios boss Kevin FeIge, but The Hollywood Reporter‘s Borys Kit confirmed on Twitter that Sinister and The Exorcism Of Emily Rose director Scott Derickson.

Derickson’s next movie will be the Eric Bana-fronted possession film Deliver Us From Evil, and the director is also working on a cyberpunk double-bill in the form of Deus Ex and When Gravity Fails.

Kit added that Warm Bodies‘ Jonathan Levine and Brave‘s Mark Andrews are both still on the shortlist.
