Doctor Doom film is being developed by Legion’s Noah Hawley

Legion and Fargo’s Noah Hawley is working on a Doctor Doom film

Every adaptation of Fantastic Four thus far may have been a bit of a shit storm, but that doesn’t mean the superhero team’s villains have to suffer the same fate. Not if Noah Hawley has anything to do with it.

At San Diego Comic-Con, the Legion and Fargo showrunner revealed that he’s currently working on a Doctor Doom film with Fox. He broke the news rather spectacularly during the Legion panel, stating: “I’ll just say two words. The first one is ‘Doctor’ and the next one is ‘Doom’.”

As it’s Comic-Con, that’s basically all we know about the mysterious project so far. But we do know that if Hawley is involved it ought to be both good and very, very pretty.

Doctor Doom last appeared on the big screen in 2015’s Fantastic Four (directed by Josh Trank), and was played by Toby Kebbell. Before that, the villain was played by Julian McMahon in the 2005 and 2007 films.
