Yes, the Looper and Dumb And Dumber star will be appearing in The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part 1, where he will be playing David, theĀ leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, which is credited with originally creating the various factions you see in the book and film series. As is usually the case with the leaders of largely faceless, shadowy organisations, we’re going to assume that he isn’t a particularly nice guy.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part 1 will see Shailene Woodley and Theo James reprise the roles of Tris and Four respectively, with the likes of Miles Teller, Naomi Watts and Ansel Elgort also confirmed to be returning. Insurgent director Robert Schwentke is back to helm things, and The Maze Runner writer Noah Oppenheim is penning the screenplay.
