According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chronicle writer Max Landis is working on a US TV adaptation of Douglas Adams’ Dirk Gently novels, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and The Long Dark Tea-Time Of The Soul.
The Hollywood Reporter, that trusted bastion of entertainment journalism, do seem confused as to whether it’s a book or a graphic novel.
Clue: Google it.
The show is being developed by comic publishers IDW who have recently expanded into television production and have a first-look deal with Entertainment One. They will also be releasing a Dirk Gently comic.
Landis, who will write the pilot and executively produce, previously teased the announcement, tweeting:
