The Wrap reports that TJ Miller (Silicon Valley, Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World) and Ed Skrein (Game Of Thrones, Ill Manors) are being lined up to star alongside Reynolds in Tim Miller’s film. It notes that Skrein’s negotiations are further along than Miller’s.
The star of Cloverfield and Big Hero 6 has been offered a role that “serves as an additional comic voice to compliment Deadpool, who often breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the audience.’ The Wrap suggests that Skrein has been offered a villainous role. Skrein previously played the role of Daenerys’ fancy man Daario Naharis in Game Of Thrones Season 3, before dropping out to star in The Transporter TV series, at which point he was replaced by Michiel Huisman.
