As Deadpool starts shooting, we can expect more details to emerge from Tim Miller’s comic book adaptation.
Star Morena Baccarin has revealed on Twitter who she’ll be playing in the long-gestating comic book movie, which also stars Ryan Reynolds, Gina Carano and TJ Miller.

This would seem to indicate that she’s playing Vanessa Carlysle, otherwise known as Copycat. As you might expect, Vanessa can change shape to replicate other people, including their mutant powers. In the comics, Copycat falls in love with Wade Wilson, which would explain why the previously unnamed role was described as a romantic interest.
