Renowned director David Cronenberg has emerged as a strong contender to helm the Hollywood remake of Nacho Vigalondo’s Spanish Language film Los Cronocrímenes (Timecrimes), about a man who travels back in time to prevent a serious crime from taking place.
The Fly helmer has yet to be confirmed as the director, but should this happen, he would be working from a script penned by Timothy J Sexton, who was one of the co-writers of Alfonso Cuarón’s big-screen adaptation of PD James’s Children Of Men.
