Continuing the period horror trend he started in Hammer’s unexpected hit The Woman In Black, former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has thrown his proverbial hat in the ring to play the lead role of Hunchback in Universal’s Frankenstein reboot, written by Chronicle‘s Max Landis and directed by Sherlock‘s Paul McGuigan.
There seems to be a circus theme, as The Wrap notes that the original description of the character is “Dirty and pathologically so. He wears old clown clothes, faded. His slouched posture and long hair is offset by his intelligent eyes.”
The Woman In Black is available on DVD priced £7 and Blu-ray priced £8 from Amazon.co.uk.
