The Da Vinci’s Demons axe was painful for many but at least Season 3 is still on the way, and it’s coming very soon.
Fans based in the UK will be able to watch and cry at the show’s final season this autumn, with its UK premiere on Sunday 25 October at 9pm on FOX, just one day after its US premiere on Starz.
Da Vinci’s Demons Season 3 brings with it familiar faces like Tom Riley, Laura Haddock (Guardians Of The Galaxy), Blake Ritson (RocknRolla) and Elliot Cowan (Narcopolis), as well as some new ones, including a new showrunner and executive producer in the form of John Shiban (Breaking Bad).
You can read the synopsis for Season 3 here:
Last season we left Leonardo sparking the fuse to destroy the Ottoman fleet before it reaches the city of Otranto, just as he learns from Piero that the Sultan’s soothsayer, sailing with the Ottoman fleet, is his absent mother. Now his world comes crashing down as the city is torn apart by the invasion, with the Turks using da Vinci’s own weapons against him. The betrayal of having his designs leaked by someone he trusted cripples da Vinci, and will haunt him long after the battle is decided, as will the deaths of loved ones lost in the fighting. When Rome instigates a Crusade against the Turks Leonardo seizes the opportunity to join the fight, but his mission is complicated by a series of grisly murders that terrorize Italy and threaten the Crusade itself.
