Creepshow: Scripts ordered for Season Three

Shudder has commissioned the scripts for Season Three of Creepshow.

A full third season of Creepshow has been commissioned by genre streaming platform Shudder. The show is showrun and executive produced by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) and based on George A. Romero’s iconic 1982 movie.

Creepshow continues to be near and dear to my heart and having the opportunity to continue the legacy by developing Season Three gives me the chance to work with some of the best storytellers and artists in the business,” said showrunner Greg Nicotero. “The stories we have in the pipeline for season 2 are even more outrageous, more fun and capture the spirit of what George Romero and Stephen King started in the Eighties.”

The second season was set to commence shooting in March in Atlanta, Georgia, but has been on hold until film and television production resumes.

“Although Season Two is on pause while we wait until it’s safe to go into production, we wanted to use the time to start work on Season Three scripts to let Greg Nicotero and his amazing team get as far ahead as possible,” added Shudder GM Craig Engler.

The inaugural season of Creepshow starred David Arquette, Adrienne Barbeau, Tobin Bell, Big Boi, Jeffrey Combs, Kid Cudi, Bruce Davison, Giancarlo Esposito, Dana Gould, Tricia Helfer and DJ Qualls and featured adaptations of stories by Stephen King, Joe Hill, Joe R. Lansdale, Josh Malerman and others.

Creepshow Season One is currently available on Shudder.
