Creep 2 has finished filming, more Duplass creepiness coming soon

Get ready for more Peachfuzz and tubby time as Creep 2 wraps filming

Excellent news for fans of Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice’s deeply odd, deeply unsettling and frankly brilliant indie horror Creep, as Duplass Tweeted that filming has finished on the sequel.

Yes indeed, Creep will be back. When the found-footage horror originally debuted back in 2014 it was widely reported that it would be the first in a trilogy, but things seemed to have gone very quiet on any follow-up until August last year when Duplass Tweeted that he had been trying on wardrobe for Creep 2 and that “This one is gonna get a little bit weird.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, any plot details are being kept under wraps (and would definitely be spoilers for anyone who hasn’t seen the first film), but we know that Duplass is returning as Josef, and that he’s joined by the awesome Desiree Akhavan (Appropriate Behaviour, Flowers) and Karan Soni (Deadpool, Safety Not Guaranteed). Brice directs from a screenplay he wrote with Duplass.

Here’s the synopsis for the first movie just in case you needed a reminder.

“When a videographer answers a Craigslist ad for a one-day job in a remote mountain town, he finds his client is not at all what he initially seems.”
