Daniel Craig has been injured on the set of Quantum Of Solace, adding another entry to a growing list of mishaps that are occurring during the film’s production.
The Daily Mail states that the 39-year-old actor sliced the tip of his finger off during a shoot, but after a brief spell in hospital he returned to filming in the afternoon. The list of injuries during principal photography of the James Bond film has been abnormally large so far – at the weekend a fire broke out on the Bond set at Pinewood studios, while a week ago the actor’s face was cut and required eight stitches. In addition, two stuntmen were seriously hurt during separate cars accidents in April. The string of incidents has led many on the film’s crew to label the production cursed.
Daniel Craig has recently starred in The Invasion and The Golden Compass, alongside Nicole Kidman in both. Quantum Of Solace is scheduled for a 31 October release.
