Comic series the forgotten getting adapted

A new comic franchise trudges our way.

forgottenComic series the forgotten [sic] is being adapted into a film, according to Slash Film. Details are scant at the moment but the website indicates that Transformers writer John Rogers is working on a script draft for this project. This is backed up by a quote from Mania, which sees co-creator Jareth Grealish saying:

“A well established screenwriter is now attached to the project. While we’re not at liberty to disclose his name, I can assure you the guy has some very impressive credentials. The take that he and our producers have on the forgotten is top-notch. Evan [Young, co-creator] and I are very excited about where they are taking it.”

Although Grealish doesn’t name the writer, the guys over at Slash Film seem confident Rogers is the man.

Created by Evan Young and Jareth Grealish, the forgotten centres on a main character who has the ability to erase memories. In the comic series he embarks on a quest to hunt down the killer of a stripper. So expect this one to be a murky trawl, maybe in the style of Sin City, when/if it arrives on screens.
