GREEN LANTERN
Aside from the above image, there wasn’t much in the way of eye candy released by Green Lantern, but the panel held more than a few juicy bits of information. Mark Strong said that Sinestro would be an integral part of the Corps, who puts Hal Jordan through his paces because he doesn’t believe that a human can handle it. Ryan Reynolds said that Jordan himself is headstrong and arrogant, swimming in his newfound power. Peter Sarrsgard said he channeled authors such as Carl Sagan when playing Hector Hammond, and it was emphasised that while important, faithfulness to the source was not the overriding concern on the film. Exciting stuff.
There was, however, this brilliant recitation of the Corps oath from Ryan Reynolds, who made a kid’s weekend.
