Following its premiere at the Sitges Film Festival in October, upcoming sci-fi thriller Code 8 presents its new trailer as it gives Robbie Amell (The Flash) some complicated powers and teams him up with his real-life cousin, Arrow star Stephen Amell, as he attempts to comes to terms with them. Code 8 acts as a sequel of sorts to the 2016 short film of the same name. It is directed by Jeff Chan, who co-wrote the film with Chris Paré. The film follows Connor Reed (Robbie Amell) as a desperate young man possessing special powers who clashes with a militarised police force after committing a petty crime.
The film also stars Sung Kang, Kari Matchett, Greg Bryk, Alex Mallari Jr, Aaron Abrams, Laysla De Oliveira and Jeff Sinasac.
