Cobie Smulders will be reprising her role as Agent Maria Hill in Joss Whedon’s Agents of SHIELD.
The pilot, which was screened at Comic-Con this weekend, includes a scene with Agent Coulson’s right hand, which comes as a relief to fans concerned that Smulders’ How I Met Your Mother schedule would not allow her the time to appear.
It’s still unkown exactly how many episodes the character will appear in, but Joss Whedon told THR that “I wanted very much to have Cobie in the pilot because as much as anyone else, she IS SHIELD. She’s cool and commanding and has the dry humor that plays so well with Clark’s [Gregg]. Also, if she’s in it, I get to hang out with Cobie.”
