Actor and singer Roy Skelton, who voiced the Daleks and the Cybermen in Doctor Who from 1967 to 1988, as well as Zippy in popular children’s show Rainbow has died aged 78 following a stroke.
Fittingly for a life dedicated to time travel, he last voiced Zippy for one of the many surreal dream segments in metaphysical BBC drama Ashes To Ashes in 2008.
