cbsap.jpgIn addition to the pick-up and renewal news from Fox, ABC and HBO, as reported yesterday, we can confirm that CBS is adding three shows to its new season slate.

The Ex-List: Based on an Israeli series, the show will follow a woman who is warned by a tarot card reader that she must marry a man that she has met before. The show will star Elizabeth Reaser and is written by Diane Ruggiero.

Eleventh Hour: Another adaptation, this time of a British television series, in which a government investigator looks into scientific anomalies. Not anything like Fringe, The X Files, or any other show with pretty much the same premise, then.

The Mentalist: A man uses his “innate powers of deduction” to aid police in their investigations. Simon Baker stars in the lead role following his notable part in Land Of The Dead, while Bruno Heller takes on scribe duties.

In addition, The CW has confirmed that it will be bringing back popular action-comedy Reaper for a 13-episode order in mid-season.
