Josh Brolin was offered the part of Marcus in the new Terminator film, Terminator Salvation, but turned it down according to new reports from MTV.
The sought-after actor has said that he spoke with Christian Bale about the script, but in the end, couldn’t reconcile his differences with it. “Yeah. I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple of hours. I really liked the script, though I hear that’s not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimately, though, I didn’t think it felt right.”
Brolin has been in high demand recently after a successful year in 2007 and a large amount of publicity for his role as President George W Bush in Oliver Stone’s W. The actor is currently tapped to play Jonah Hex, in the upcoming adaptation of the graphic novel.
