Let’s be honest, everyone has felt like killing one or more of their work colleagues at some point during their lives. Okay, probably not literally, but the point is you have probably encountered annoying people that you wanted rid of.
In this light, Greg McLean and James Gunn present a nightmare for some, and morbid wish-fulfilment for others via their upcoming horror The Belko Experiment. Taking place in your run-of-the-mill office block, things take a turn for the terrifying when the building is barricaded, and a voice is heard instructing everyone to kill each other – lest they all die.
Marketed as a cross between Battle Royale and Office Space (not a bad combination, if you ask us), this is packed full of cult names (John Gallagher Jr, Michael Rooker and John C McGinley immediately stand out), and considering the ludicrous, blood-soaked nature of the plot, we could well see this becoming a future cult classic in time.
Annoyingly, there’s UK release date confirmed at present, but hopefully this will be rectified soon.
Anyway, you can read the synopsis and watch the new trailer for The Belko Experiment:
