Speaking in a conference call on the terribly dry subject of Warner Bros’ fourth quarter earnings – see the transcript on Yahoo! Finance – Time Warner Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer John K Martin revealed that the follow-up to 2011’s fantastic Batman: Arkham City videogame will be coming later this year.
“We also have a strong games release this year,” Martin confirmed, “which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013.”
Previous reports suggest that the third game would be inspired by the Fifties, Silver Age comics, and would depict Batman’s first encounter with the Joker.
