Ash Vs Evil Dead Season 2 UK air date announced

Find out when Ash Vs Evil Dead will return in the UK

Hot on the heels of its US air date, we can now confirm that Starz’ Ash Vs Evil Dead‘s second season will be available to watch for Virgin TV customers from Monday 3 October 2016.

The first season proved to be a massive hit among viewers, gleefully combining ludicrous amounts of gore with a fun knockabout comedy, backed up by an excellent and game cast who are utterly on board with the frankly batshit yet still brilliant script.

Speaking of which, Bruce Campbell, Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago and Lucy Lawless will all be reprising their roles for Season 2, where they will be joined by some notable newcomers: Michelle Hurd (Law & Order: SVU) is on board as Linda B, Ash’s high school love; Ted Raimi (Xena: Warrior Princess, Spider-Man) is playing Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend; and most brilliantly of all, none other than Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man, The Fall Guy) is joining as Brock Williams, Ash’s father.

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

Ash Vs Evil Dead is produced by Starz as a premium TV series.  Sam Raimi serves as executive Producer with Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell and Ivan Raimi, along with Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer/showrunner. Aaron Lam and Moira Grant serve as producers.

Series 2 of Ash Vs Evil Dead will be available from 3rd October for Virgin Media TV customers to watch through its TV on demand service and available to all Mix TV, Fun TV and Full House TV customers, as well as existing M+ and above subscribers. Virgin TV customers can still catch up on the first series of Ash vs Evil Dead, available as a full binge-worthy boxset. For more news about the latest TV series, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
