Ash Vs Evil Dead Season 2 confirmed – groovy!

Bruce Campbell will get a second wind in Season 2 of Ash Vs Evil Dead

Ash Vs Evil Dead Season 2

Now, this is news we wanted to hear. Although it doesn’t have a UK broadcaster or air date confirmed yet (though surely it’s just a matter of time), it has been confirmed that Ash Vs Evil Dead, the continuation of the Evil Dead story, will return for a second season.

Airing on Starz in the US, Ash Vs Evil Dead sees an old, embittered Ash (Bruce Campbell) 30 years after the events of Army Of Darkness, living out in his RV and trying to avoid all responsibility, as well as trying to stay one step ahead of the Deadites. All his not so carefully laid plans are thrown up in the air, however, when said Deadites make a return, with him being suspected as the culprit.

Admittedly, it hasn’t even aired in the US yet, but that doesn’t stop us being crazy excited about it. Not only because Campbell is back; but because the producing/directing dream team of Robert Tapert and Sam Raimi are involved. Groovy indeed.

In addition to Campbell, the series also stars Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess), Jill Marie Jones (Sleepy Hollow), Ray Santiago (In Time) and Dana DeLorenzo (Impress Me).

Ash Vs Evil Dead: Season 1 will air on Starz in the US from 1 November, with a US air date to follow. For more news on the biggest TV shows, pick up the latest issue of SciFiNow.
