fountain_tree_gal.jpgAcclaimed director Darren Aronofsky is set to focus his attention on the small screen in the immediate future as he develops Riverview Towers, a supernatural thriller TV series, which focuses on a family who move into an apartment building suffering from all manners of paranormal activity.

Arronofsky, whose last film, The Fountain (pictured), confused and astounded audiences in equal measure, will executive produce the series through his own production company Protozoa in collaboration with AMC. Jed Weintrob and fellow Protozoan Eric Watson will join Aronofsky in the producing hot seat with Monster director Patty Jenkins currently the rumour mill’s fave to pick up directing duties for the series’ pilot.
