The Aquaman family just got bigger, now that Michael Beach has signed up to take a part too.
According to Variety, Beach is set to play a new character, a villain no less, called Jesse Kane. Warner Bros. describes Kane as part of a group of high-seas hijackers who has a fateful interaction with Aquaman.
However, rumours are already starting to brew, with many fans believing that Beach is actually playing the father of Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, after Abdul-Mateen II himself tweeted these rather telling pictures of he and Beach hanging out together in Australia (where the film is being shot) back in May.

This won’t be the first time Beach has worked with Aquaman actor Jason Momoa; Beach guest-starred in Stargate: Atlantis several times, while Momoa had a recurring role. More recently, Beach has appeared on The 100 as Charles Pike and Pitch as Bill Baker.
Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry AKA Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Murk, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry.
The film is directed by James Wan, with Wan and Goeff Johns concocting the story and Will Beall writing the screenplay.
